According to the GADV-protein world hypothesis, one of the theories about the origin of life, the emergence of life on early Earth occurred as a result of the random combination of four specific amino acids present at that time. This piece features sculptures inspired by the molecular structures of the four amino acids (alanine, aspartic acid, glycine, valine) presumed to be found on early Earth. These sculptures can be freely manipulated by viewers, potentially giving rise to new configurations by chance. While it isn't something we often consciously ponder, we ourselves are also life forms, with human connections serving to link lives and perpetuate the chain of existence. By symbolically linking the connections between amino acids, which constitute the basis of life's origin, the work serves as a reminder that human bonds contribute to the interconnected chain of life, evoking contemplation about life's inception and the enigmatic qualities of our own being.
